Message From Tracy

Hi my name is Tracy Zarkpa's Garley, founder & CEO of Zarkpa's, I’d like to thank you for being a part of my amazing entrepreneurship adventure in the city of Detroit. As a business owner we all know running a storefront with a little amount of capital and no business loan can get very stressful and overwhelming. So I’ve decided to move our company 100% online and cut my overhead 85%.

These past four years I have learned so much about the retail business. Good and bad, which have lead me to focus on selling authentic custom made products from west Africa. I am originally from The Grand Gedeh County in Monrovia, Liberia a West African country. That was founded in 1816 by The American Colonization Society and got their independence on July 26, 1847.  Which explains why our products are named after the 15 counties of Liberia. My goal is to have people to learn more about the mother land and in hopes of wanting to visit one day.

So when you see how amazing these fabrics are you wouldn't mind spoiling yourself. Africa is a continent that has many beautiful things to offer from fashion, food, art, music and history. Zarkpa’s will be showcasing the beauty of Africa through our amazing products, and also through the hosting of  unique pop up events worldwide. Be sure to join our mailing list to stay informed on what Cities we we'll be in. Thank you for your support, and enjoy shopping and  learning more about The Mother Land.

Many Blessings Tracy
